About this site

For us, being a craftsman means using, choosing, using, and maintaining our tools with care. Like all our applications, this site has the following properties.

Libraries / Dependencies

Few libraries are used to create this site, and they are very small. This is a deliberate choice that implies:

• A reduced attack surface for intrusions.
• Complete freedom.
• Complete control.

Our library automaton-web uses 15 dependencies, while automaton-core has 13.

The footprint of this site

The size of the website is significantly less than 1 megabyte for the home page, all inclusive. This size is very moderate, making the page load very fast.

Dark Mode

The site is displayed in dark mode if your system settings specify it.

Printing

Printing a page of the site removes unnecessary navigation information and adapts the layout.

Multi-language

Two versions are available, English and French. Your browser preferences are used to choose the default language for the site. The user can override this choice by clicking on the desired language.

Robustness

All links are defined centrally. Thus, they are testable, and regularly tested.

Responsive

From mobile phones, tablets, and large screens, the site adapts its typography and content to suit any screen size, resolution, or orientation...
